Today, 31 January, we celebrate the Feast of our founder, St John Bosco. Antonio Boccia, the World Coordinator of the Association of Salesian Cooperators has sent this message to all Cooperators.
This morning in Bootle, Merseyside we welcome nine new Salesian Cooperators as Ann, Hazel, Jean, John, Marie, Patsy, Rita, Sue, and Victoria make their commitment. Please keep them in your prayers as they make their promise to be to be a faithful disciples, to work the Kingdom with a special commitment to the young, to deepen and give witness to the Salesian spirit, and to be active co-workers in the Mission of the Church.
Give me, O Father, the strength of Your Spirit,
so that I might know how to be a faithful witness
to these commitments.
May Mary, Help of Christians, Mother of the Church, assist me and guide me in this life choice. Amen
