I can do all things through him who strengthens me
Prayer is at the heart of the daily life of Salesian Cooperators.
Our prayer is rooted in the Word of God. It is simple and trusting, joyous and creative; it is filled with apostolic vigour and grounded in the daily realities of life. We trust in the Holy Spirit to inspire and strengthen us for we can do nothing if we are not united with Christ Jesus.
Our prayer life is nourished by the spiritual resources offered by the Church, by the Salesian Cooperators, and by the Salesian Family. We participate actively in the Liturgy of the Church and cherish the forms of popular piety that enrich our spiritual life.
Our faith is reinvigorated by the Sacraments. We are nourished by the Eucharist for our Apostolic activity. Through the Sacrament of Reconciliation we encounter the Mercy of God who leads us to a dynamic and continuous conversion and growth in our capacity to forgive.
Salesian Cooperators, like Don Bosco, nurture a filial love for Mary Help of Christians, the Mother of the Church and of humanity. She is the special guide of the Salesian Family. Don Bosco entrusted the Salesian Cooperators to Her so that we might receive protection and inspiration in our mission.
